Our Teaching Aims

Our school has always been committed to providing excellent preschool education to children, creating a positive and happy learning environment, and allowing children to have balanced and comprehensive development in all aspects. We hope our students will achieve “5A” (Attitude, Active-Learner, Adaptability, Artistic, and Athleticism.

Biliteracy and Trilingualism

Our school provides children with a rich language learning environment. In addition to Cantonese-themed classes, English classes are held every day. English teachers will teach children to learn English through games, children’s songs and phonics. The learning environment provides children with more opportunities to use English in their daily school life. Our school also provides Mandarin classes taught by professional Mandarin teachers. There are three Mandarin classes every week to lay the foundation of children’s biliteracy and trilingualism.

Picture Book Teaching
Through picture book teaching, we design diversified teaching activities and incorporate art and drama teaching elements to improve children's language and nine common abilities.
Amazing Blocks

Our school has always designed appropriate and interesting courses and teaching materials for students. In recent years, we have introduced the “Amazing Blocks Course” as a learning medium to promote children’s learning. The learning course has been approved by early childhood education experts, educational psychologists, and occupational therapists. Recommended by teachers and play therapists, it can effectively improve children’s independent learning and brain executive functions and train children’s small muscle development, mathematical logic and problem-solving abilities. Students show love, engage in activities, and think hard in this learning course.

E-interactive Learning Programs

In order to cultivate the development of children’s logical and creative thinking skills, enable them to realize their potential and enhance their self-confidence, our school has introduced electronic interactive learning courses in recent years. It includes book lending programs, competitive game programs, reward programs, etc. Our school has also introduced a “Matatalab” learning program to improve children’s computational thinking ability and mathematical logic abilities by completing a series of programming tasks.

Orff Music

Integrating rhythm, singing and spoken word, instrumental ensemble, and improvisation, Orff music encourages children to experience various natural movements. It focuses on “exploration” and “experience,” stimulating children’s imagination and fantasy, inviting them to experience the joy of music, and developing their potential musicality.

Non-Chinese Students Supports

Our school attaches great importance to the language learning ability of non-Chinese-speaking children. In addition to daily classroom learning, the school cooperates with different institutions to organize non-Chinese-speaking courses according to the different learning needs and abilities of children every year, such as Chinese University, Hong Kong University, Methodist Epworth Village Service Center, etc.

– Different individual and group activities are arranged in the afternoon through stories, children’s songs, physical games and situational learning to increase the interest in learning, thereby strengthening word recognition, word-to-sound, text structure and oral expression skills.

– Design life-oriented teaching clips to allow non-Chinese speaking children to learn on their own at home.

– Design activities and social reminder cards to help non-Chinese speaking children understand the routine of school life.
